In 2025, Qatar received 5.1 million international visitors, marking an annual growth of 3.7%. The GCC continues to account for the largest share of international visitors (35%), followed by Europe (25%). Of the total visitors, 61% arrived by air, 32% by land and 7% by sea. Room nights sold in 2025 increased 8.6% over 2024, exceeding 10.8 million and demonstrating a significant growth in demand. Average full market occupancy grew to 71%.
Year-to-date in 2024, international visitors to Qatar reached nearly 5 million, marking an annual growth of 26%. The GCC continues to account for the largest share of international visitors, followed by Europe. Of the total visitors, 57% arrived by air, 36% by land and 7% by sea, highlighting diverse modes of travel to the country. The average full market occupancy for 2024 stands at 69%, marking an 11 percentage point increase compared to 2023 and demonstrating a significant growth in demand.
