Q1 performance report - 2024

Qatar's tourism sector witnessed a significant increase in arrivals during the first quarter of 2024. Saudi Arabia remains a key player, contributing significantly to Qatar's international visitor numbers. Room-night demand is also on the rise, leading to high occupancy rates. The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries collectively contribute a substantial portion of arrivals.

Qatar witnessed a record-breaking year for tourist arrivals in 2023, welcoming 4.05 M int. visitors. Full-year arrivals were up by 58% vs last year with December 2023 contributing 519 k. Room-night demand for the full year also reached an all-time high of 8.2 M.
