It has elevated standards of quality, innovation and leadership. It has also supported the development of sustainable tourism services and experiences across the State. Through the Alumni Network, Qatar Tourism continues to build a community of leaders who exchange knowledge, share best practices and open new horizons for growth. This approach reflects our firm belief that the success of the sector depends on collaboration and integration across the entire tourism ecosystem.”
In his remarks, Mr Omar Abdulrahman Al Jaber, Chief of Tourism Development Sector at Qatar Tourism, said: “The Qatar Tourism Awards were established to ensure that excellence does not end at recognition. Through the Alumni Network, we are converting achievement into sustained sector impact by enabling collaboration, strengthening service standards and encouraging innovation across our tourism ecosystem. As we prepare for the 4th edition, our focus remains on enhancing the Awards framework and reinforcing our alumni’s role as ambassadors of excellence within Qatar’s evolving tourism landscape.”
Since its launch in 2023, the Qatar Tourism Awards has delivered three successful editions, recognising 127 winners. As the programme approaches its 4th Edition in 2026, Qatar Tourism continues to expand the Awards ecosystem through initiatives including the enhanced QT Awards Portal, the Guidebook, the Magazine, and dedicated digital platforms, reinforcing transparency, accessibility and sector-wide engagement.
