Qatar is a financial, trading and business centre of global significance – and a world-class hub for culture, relaxation, adventure, history, and sport.

Blend business with leisure

When the meetings draw to a close, delegates can enjoy a host of authentic experiences outside the corporate suites and fully discover what Qatar has to offer.

Qatar hosts some of the world’s leading conferences, exhibitions, and congresses - attracting a wide range of professionals to the country.  Visitors can take a Doha Bus tour 24 hours a day from the heart of West Bay, Doha’s financial district, with hop on hop off tours providing a convenient way to see the city’s attractions and its stunning architecture.

Wander through Katara Cultural Village, a hub of artistic and cultural activity, relax by the beach, shop at the stylish Galeries Lafayette or enjoy authentic cuisine at one of the many restaurants dotting the Village. Wile away the hours at one of the city’s many malls, or head to The Pearl-Qatar for a spot of shopping and take in a bit of Venice in Qatar in the colourful Qanat Quartier.

Hit the greens or the desert

Golfing enthusiasts can enjoy Doha’s golf clubs, or answer the call of the desert, and be awed by the arid beauty of the Inland Sea.

Golfers can tee off at the Education City Golf Club and enjoy state-of-the-art facilities including a TrackMan Range, where each shot is tracked by a radar, and contactless ball delivery, and an indoor putting green with a moving floor simulating sloping putts help improve any game.

Experience an authentic-style desert camp

For a more authentic experience, head to Khor al Adaid, the Inland Sea. A UNESCO site, it is one of the few places where the sea enters deep into the desert.  Take in the undulating dunes which surround the sparkling water, before heading to a traditional Bedouin style camp, for either a meal, or an overnight stay.
