Eng. Abdulaziz Ali Al-Mawlawi, Chief Executive Officer of Visit Qatar, met with a senior delegation from UFI, the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry, led by UFI CEO and Managing Director Chris Skeith OBE.
The Visiting delegation included Said Salim Al Shanfari, CEO of the Oman Convention & Exhibition Centre and incoming UFI President for 2027–2028, and Naji El Haddad, UFI’s Regional Director for the Middle East & Africa.
The meeting focused on strengthening the longstanding relationship between Visit Qatar and UFI. Discussions explored the continued development of the exhibitions industry in Qatar and the wider region, as well as the Middle East’s growing representation within UFI’s global leadership.
