Three experiences not to be missed at DJWE

The region’s only business-to-customer show of its kind is back to Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre (DECC) this week. Here are three special experiences you shouldn’t miss:

AlMajed Jewellery’s limited edition official licensed products for FIFA World Cup 2022 Qatar

As the country gears up for hosting the region’s first-ever World Cup tournament, visitors to DJWE and football fans can catch first sight of AlMajed Jewellery’s official licensed products created to celebrate the mega sports event in Qatar.

The range of limited-edition items include jewellery, pens, as well as other luxury products studded with precious stones, all designed to depict the heritage and culture of Qatar.

In September 2021, Al Majed Jewellery signed a licensing agreement with FIFA, the international governing body of football to be the official licensed luxury jewellery and accessories for the FIFA World Cup Qarar 2022™.

Inspirational talks at the DJWE lounge

Throughout the duration of the exhibition, the DJWE lounge will be home to open sessions relating to everything from the creative process of jewellery formation to consumer savviness when it comes to buying diamonds and precious stones. Visitors will hear from an array of founders and designers, including homegrown Qatari designer, Nada Al Sulaiti of Hairaat, and the 7th generation heir of the L’ETRANGE brand, Sébastien L’étrange.

DJULA’s on-site piercing services

Parisien jeweler DJULA, which is famed for its delicate designs and unconventional ear piercings, will be at DJWE this year showcasing its latest designs. And to give the complete DJULA experience to their customers, one of DJULA’s professional piercers has flown into Qatar from France and will be on hand throughout the entire exhibition to offer customers a complimentary on-site piercing service. DJULA’s creations have been spotted on A-list celebrities including Michelle Obama, Lady Gaga, and Jennifer Lawrence.

With more than 500 brands from 10 countries exhibiting at DJWE this year, the 18th edition provides an extensive display of classic and contemporary luxury collections by internationally recognised brands and designers as well as local designers.

The exhibition will take place on Monday 9 – Thursday 12, May: 12:00-22:00; Friday, 13 May: 16:00-22:00; and Saturday, 14 May 12:00-22:00.
