The Michelin-Starred Chef Giovanni Di Giorgio joins Qatar Tourism’s "World Class Chefs"

Known for his infinite passion in the Italian cuisine, the chef is hosting a series of Chef’s Table sessions in Doha from December 14-18.

 

As part of its “World Class Chefs” initiative, Qatar Tourism in collaboration with Qatar Airways, Qatar Aircraft Catering Company (QACC) and Kings of Kitchen, is hosting one of Italy’s most renowned chefs, Giovanni Di Giorgio in Qatar. The initiative, launched in October this year, is a two-year long undertaking that aims to host high-profile chefs from around the world to offer new dining experiences for Qatar’s residents and visitors and explore investment opportunities.

Known for his infinite passion in the Italian cuisine, the chef is hosting a series of Chef’s Table sessions in Doha from December 14-18.

 

As part of its “World Class Chefs” initiative, Qatar Tourism in collaboration with Qatar Airways, Qatar Aircraft Catering Company (QACC) and Kings of Kitchen, is hosting one of Italy’s most renowned chefs, Giovanni Di Giorgio in Qatar. The initiative, launched in October this year, is a two-year long undertaking that aims to host high-profile chefs from around the world to offer new dining experiences for Qatar’s residents and visitors and explore investment opportunities.

Giovanni Di Giorgio is a renowned Italian chef, who started his culinary experience during his teenage years at his uncle’s pastry shop, Casa del Dolce, in San Felice town. He worked in numerous renowned Michelin-Starred restaurants across Italy and Denmark such as Imago restaurant in Hassler Hotel, Noma restaurant, Azurmendi restaurant, and Bottega del Buon Caffè. Di Giorgio is currently the head chef of Meo Modo restaurant in the five-star luxury boutique hotel, Borgo Santo Pietro in Italy offering innovative farm-to-plate dining experiences. He was awarded with a Michelin Star last year.

Giovanni Di Giorgio is demonstrating his craft and serving exquisite dishes during exclusive Chef’s Table sessions until December 18 at Nobu restaurant at The Four seasons Hotel, from 17:00 to 22:00. There are limited seats available, and bookings can be made directly through the hotel.

As part of its mandate to regulate and develop the tourism sector, Qatar Tourism is working closely with its partners across the public and private sectors to help build products that showcase Qatar’s varied offerings and support local entrepreneurs by showcasing their offerings.
