From striking architecture and luxury retail to family entertainment and diverse dining experiences, Doha’s malls have evolved into destinations in their own right. Taking place from 1 to 31 August as part of Visit Qatar’s Hala Summer campaign, the festival brings together participating malls, and restaurants from the Taste of Qatar network for a month of shopping, dining, entertainment and exclusive promotions. With special offers, family-friendly activities and exciting raffle prizes, the festival offers more reasons to explore Doha’s vibrant retail scene.
The nine participating malls include some of Qatar’s leading shopping and lifestyle destinations:
Place Vendôme
Place Vendôme combines Parisian-inspired architecture, luxury shopping and dining with an impressive waterfront setting right in the heart of Lusail City. Its canal and signature dancing fountains make it a distinctive destination to experience day and night.
Doha Festival City
Doha Festival City brings together shopping, dining and family entertainment in Umm Salal Mohammed. Visitors can explore a wide range of international brands alongside popular attractions including Angry Birds World and Snow Dunes.
Mall of Qatar
Centred around its signature indoor Oasis, Mall of Qatar offers a lively mix of shopping, dining and entertainment in Al Rayyan. Live performances and family experiences add to its appeal as an all-day destination.
Villaggio Mall
Located in Aspire Zone, Villaggio Mall is known for its distinctive Venetian-inspired interiors, indoor canal and gondola rides. Shopping, dining and entertainment come together to create a memorable experience for families and visitors.
City Center Doha
Surrounded by some of the capital’s leading hotels and attractions, City Center Doha offers shopping and dining in the West Bay. Its central setting makes it a convenient stop while exploring the city.
Landmark Mall
With a setting inspired by traditional Qatari architecture, Landmark Mall offers a relaxed shopping and dining experience in Al Gharrafa. Its welcoming atmosphere and family-friendly offering make it a popular destination for a leisurely day out.
Doha Mall
Bringing together shopping, dining and family entertainment, Doha Mall offers a contemporary retail experience in Abu Hamour. Its varied offering makes it a convenient destination for a summer day out.
Hyatt Plaza
A long-standing family favourite in Al Waab, Hyatt Plaza combines shopping and dining with dedicated entertainment for children. Its proximity to Aspire Zone also places visitors close to several of the area’s popular attractions.
Al Hazm
Grand architecture, landscaped courtyards and a blend of Arabian and European influences define Al Hazm in Al Markhiya. Its luxury boutiques and dining experiences offer an elegant setting for a relaxed summer outing.
The festival also gives shoppers the opportunity to enter a series of raffle draws throughout August. Visitors spending a minimum of QAR 200 at participating destinations can have their receipt stamped before visiting a dedicated redemption booth to exchange it for a raffle coupon. Each stamped receipt can be redeemed once.
