Visit Qatar, in partnership with Ethara and SESLive!, has announced that Cirque du Soleil’s celebrated production CORTEO will be staged in Doha for the first time, with performances taking place from 8 to 13 April at the Qatar National Convention Centre (QNCC).
The production will be presented across eight performances, offering residents and visitors the opportunity to experience one of Cirque du Soleil’s most acclaimed, family-friendly shows in Qatar.
CORTEO, meaning “cortege” in Italian, is a visually rich production that blends theatrical storytelling with acrobatics, live music and humour, following the imagination of a clown who envisions his own farewell as a joyful, dreamlike celebration. Renowned for its distinctive staging, the show features moving sets, flying chandeliers and gravity-defying performances, and is presented in a two-sided arena format, creating an immersive shared experience for audiences.

The production has an approximate duration of two hours and 10 minutes, including a 25-minute intermission.
Shows schedule:
- Wednesday, 8 April and Thursday, 9 April, doors will open at 18:30, with the show starting at 19:30.
- Friday, 10 April and Saturday, 11 April, two performances will be held each day, with an afternoon show opening at 14:30 and starting at 15:30, followed by evening performances with doors opening at 18:30 and the show starting at 19:30.
- Sunday, 12 April and Monday, 13 April, doors will open at 18:30, with performances starting at 19:30.
