Ladies can learn about the latest beauty trends from the masters themselves, with seats now on sale.

 

Qatar Tourism’s Shop Qatar 2021 marks a return to form, with masterclasses by renowned international and regional makeup artists.  Makeup enthusiasts can learn tips and techniques behind the flawless looks of the world’s top celebrities during ticketed masterclasses.

On 21 September, famous Lebanese makeup artist and founder of his own cosmetics line, Bassam Fattouh hosted a makeup masterclass at Park Hyatt Hotel with 60 ladies in attendance. Boasting a celebrity clientele with Haifa Wehbe and Elissa, Fattouh is also known for his magical bridal looks.

There are more exciting masterclasses on offer during Shop Qatar 2021.  These are ticketed through Virgin Megastore and need to be booked in advance. Attendees must be vaccinated.

With over 2 million followers on Instagram, Ghadeer Alsultan is a celebrity Kuwaiti makeup artist who owns Ghadeer Sultan Beauty Salon in Kuwait. Ghadeer has collaborated with international makeup brands such Maybelline and Makeup forever.

More Fashion and Design Activations:

Besides the make-up masterclasses, Doha Design District, Msheireb Downtown will also host a series of activations from 3-9 October.  Here, fashion lovers can learn about new trends in the industry. Activities include pop up shops featuring international and upcoming designers, as well as design workshops for candle making, perfume, clay and denim design.

Running until 10 October, Shop Qatar provides shopping discounts of up to 90 percent with cash and car prizes worth over QAR 4 million across 13 malls, The Pearl and HIA Duty-free shops.
