All retail groups and independent shops, retail sellers that have contributed to Tourism in Qatar and completed Qatar Tourism training (Qatar Host) on:

Shopping Malls

Completed Qatar Tourism training (Qatar Host) on:

Entertainment & Recreation

Entertainment company, events organizers/company, Kid zones, waterparks, theme parks, and tourism-related recreational companies

Restaurant (Casual Dining)

All casual dining restaurants, independent in touristic areas or inside of hotels.

2. Each restaurant need to provide their latest Food Safety Rating, with a rating no less than good, very good or excellent in order to qualify to QT Awards.

These scores will be available to the restaurant in a certificate form (pdf).

  • Note that a restaurant to obtain a ‘good’ rating shall fulfill the below prerequisites of MoPH :
  • register on Watheq with all their operational details,
  • register all the food handlers and all the food handlers have passed the exam

Restaurant (Mobile Outlets, Food Trucks, Cafes)

All food trucks and cafes operating in touristic areas in Qatar

1. Completed Qatar Tourism training (Qatar Host) on:

2. Each restaurant need to provide their latest Food Safety Rating, with a rating no less than good, very good or excellent in order to qualify to QT Awards.

These scores will be available to the restaurant in a certificate form (pdf).

Note that a restaurant to obtain a ‘good’ rating shall fulfill the below prerequisites of MoPH :

Restaurant (Fine Dining)

All fine dining restaurants, independent in touristic areas or inside of hotels

1. Completed Qatar Tourism training (Qatar Host) on:

2. Each restaurant need to provide their latest Food Safety Rating, with a rating no less than good, very good or excellent in order to qualify to QT Awards.

These scores will be available to the restaurant in a certificate form (pdf).

Restaurant (Hotel)

All types of restaurants located in hotels only

1. Completed Qatar Tourism training (Qatar Host) on:

Restaurant (Independent – touristic area)

All type of independent restaurants located in touristic areas and outside of hotels

1. Completed Qatar Tourism training (Qatar Host) on:

2. Each restaurant need to provide their latest Food Safety Rating, with a rating no less than good, very good or excellent in order to qualify to QT Awards.

These scores will be available to the restaurant in a certificate form (pdf).

Spa Awards

Spa & Wellness

1. Completed Qatar Tourism training (Qatar Host) on:

Tourism Support Organizations (Public Companies, Government Bodies, and Private Sector)

All companies, private or public, including government institutions that have contributed to international events in Qatar, and hosting tourism-related activities with impact on tourism.

Service Excellence: Individuals

Outstanding Service Excellence

All individuals who have demonstrated exceptional service with an impact on tourism or tourism-related services

Completed Qatar Tourism training (Qatar Host) on:

Tour Guide

For licensed and registered tour guides with Qatar Tourism, and each tour guide should input his Tour Guide license number

  • Valid License and Tour Guide number

Cultural Experience:

Cultural & Tourist Attraction

Private or Public entities such as Museums, Souqs, libraries, and others

Completed Qatar Tourism training (Qatar Host) on:

Cultural Experience

All companies, private or public, museums, cultural attractions, tour operators, tour organizers, travel agencies, hotels, and all others, that have demonstrated cultural experience in their service or product offerings

Completed Qatar Tourism training (Qatar Host) on:

Cultural Heritage Site

Private or Public entities such as Souqs, forts, and others.
